MATERIALS
Trabecular Titanium
Trabecular Titanium is a very porous material that is very receptive for the growth of both soft and bony tissues. The mechanical resistance is similar to that of bone. The implant is manufactured by sintering.
PEEK
PEEK is designed for strength, stability and
biocompatibility. The mechanical resistance is similar to bone. The fixation points can be determined at the surgery. It is chemically inert, and it has the highest chemical resistance in the market.
PMMA
PMMA is manufactured in cement with or without
antibiotics (gentamicin) and is used for cementations and bone fixation. It allows the surgeon to perform
intra-surgical remodeling, perforations for fixation and/or sutures, micro perforations for tissue adhesion, among others.
