7th Global digital surgery meeting is coming!

New medical breakthroughs are being developed every day, and digital surgery planning is no exception. One of the more remarkable developments in this field is the possibility to design custom implants for individual patients, which is especially helpful for those who suffer from rare bone diseases or injuries. This blog post is a special invitation to join the Global Digital Surgery Meeting where we will discuss how these technologies work and what it means for surgeons and implant companies alike. You will get access to cutting-edge topics like 3D surgical planning, 3D printing in medicine, custom implants, virtual reality, and so on.

The meeting is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together surgeons from all over the world to discuss emerging technologies in digital surgery and engineers to explore new ways to use technology in surgery. We’ll be discussing 3D printing in medicine, custom implants, and virtual reality for surgical planning.

This year's conference features keynote speakers like Dr. Abdul Hameed Attar, consultant in Maxillofacial surgery at Wockhardt Hospitals Mira Road in India. He works as an accredited trainer in custom-implant designing and surgical planning and has substantial experience handling serious maxillofacial trauma cases, and patients with cancer of the oral and maxillofacial areas.

His experience covers Temporomandibular joint surgery (TMJ) for correcting malfunctions of the joint as well as pain, dental implants, facial augmentation (chin & chin), and Facial Cosmetics.

There are also many other lectures and workshops throughout the day with topics ranging from “Virtual Reality Surgical Planning” to “The Future of Medical Education Technology."

You don't want to miss this event! This meeting will provide an opportunity for surgeons from all over the world to learn about how digital technologies can help them do their jobs better. It's not just for surgeons either - This year we will introduce on October 7th the Industry presentations on what it takes to make these technologies work as well as demos so that everyone can see them firsthand. The main focus will be on high patient satisfaction, gained efficiencies, and cost savings.

Finally, At TECHFIT we are digitizing the reconstruction surgery workflow by means of our DISRP platform. You are invited to learn how using CT imaging, we will convert it into a 3D anatomic digital twin that surgeons can work with to create surgical plans and review patient-specific case studies in order to make appropriate decisions on procedures for their patients. Once approved, POC printing service is leveraged where they are able to print out models tailored specifically towards each individual's needs and anatomy.

Join us at this year's event! It promises to be an exciting experience where you can meet fellow doctors and researchers who are just as passionate about digital surgery as you are!

This year we will introduce on October 7th, 2021 the Industry presentations on what it takes to make these technologies work. The main focus will be on high patient satisfaction, gained efficiencies, and cost savings.
